Sand Loop Level 190 Guide: The Perched Bird Puzzle
This level features a colorful, pixelated bird—likely a finch or tanager—sitting on a branch. It isn't a speed level, but it is a severe bottleneck puzzle. The board is cramped, and your flow is restricted by heavy blockers right from the start.
The hook here is the deception of the center. Your eyes go straight to that massive "20" Ice Block in the middle, but if you obsess over breaking it, you will stall out. This level requires you to work the perimeter to unlock the center, not the other way around.
Sand Loop Level 190 Solution: The Perched Bird
Take a look at the pixel art target. This bird is complex because it uses distinct, isolated color patches rather than one big blob of color.
- Color Palette Deep Dive: You are dealing with Deep Red (for the branches and the bird's back/tail), Bright Green (for the leaves), Orange (the bird's belly), White (face markings), and a Purple wing.
- The "Danger Zones": The Purple wing is the biggest risk. You don't see Purple cups in the initial tray setup. This means the Purple paint is hidden inside the Mystery (?) Cups at the very bottom. If you pull those mystery cups out while the dispenser is pouring Red or Green, you will ruin the wing color and fail the level immediately.
- Fill Order Prediction: You will likely paint the Red branches and Green leaves first. These colors are readily available in the top rows. The specific body details (Orange belly, Purple wing) come last because those cups are buried at the bottom of the stacks.
Tackling the Ice Block 20 in Sand Loop Level 190
The elephant in the room is the Ice Block 20 sitting dead center.
This obstacle acts as a "counter" wall. It will not break until you have successfully cleared 20 cups from the board. Because it sits in the middle column, it effectively splits your supply tray in half. You cannot access any cups behind it until the late game.
Do not try to "target" this block. It is a passive obstacle. Your strategy must be to ignore it and feed the conveyor belt from the left and right columns. As you play normally, the number will tick down. Treat the center column as a "dead zone" for the first 70% of the level.
Sand Loop Level 190 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You have 5 slots on your conveyor belt. This is generous, but the cups are locked behind dependency chains.
Clearing the Initial Green and White
Your first moves are dictated by the top row. You have a single Green Cup in the center and two White Cups on the flanks.
- Tap the Green Cup immediately. This is an easy fill for the leaves and clears the top-center space.
- Tap the two White Cups. These are for the bird's face.
- Crucial spacing: Do not tap them all at once if the nozzle is switching colors rapidly. Watch the color indicator. If it's pouring Red, wait. If it's pouring Green, send the Green cup.
Navigating the Blue Gates (4)
Once the top row is gone, you are staring at the Blue Gates marked with a "4". These gates lock the columns beneath them until you clear 4 other cups.
- Focus on the Red Cups on the far left and right.
- You need to clear these Red cups to decrement the gate counters.
- Since Red is the dominant color for the branches, you will have plenty of opportunities to pour Red. Keep cycling Red cups onto the belt.
- As soon as you clear enough side cups, the Blue Gates will shatter, giving you access to the inner columns flanking the ice block.
Filling the Mystery Wing
Once the gates are down and you've worked through the Roped cups (White/Orange stacks on the edges), you will reach the bottom row containing the Mystery (?) Cups.
- Stop and wait. Do not pull a Mystery Cup unless you know what color is coming next.
- The bird needs a Purple Wing. Since there are no Purple cups visible, these grey cups are the Purple cups.
- Wait for the dispenser to switch to Purple. Once you see the purple stream (or the indicator shows purple is next), tap the Mystery Cup.
- If you pull a Mystery Cup during a Red pour, it will fill with Red, and you will be unable to complete the purple wing section of the art. Be patient here.
