Sand Loop Level 362 Guide: The Pagoda Puzzle
Level 362 presents a classic "Pagoda" or Asian Temple pixel art. Unlike the frantic speed levels before it, this is a Logic Level. You have a restricted tray, heavy ice blocks, and a color palette that demands strict layering. If you mess up the order here, you'll paint the sky over the roof and ruin the artwork.
The puzzle isn't just about matching; it's about dealing with Roped Dependencies. You can't just take the cup you want. You have to take the baggage attached to it.
Sand Loop Level 362 Solution: The Temple
Look at the canvas. This isn't just a random blob of color. It has a specific architectural structure you must respect.
-
Color Palette:
- Red: The primary walls of the temple.
- Dark Red (Maroon): The central door and shadowed areas.
- Yellow: The sun, the roof tips, and the ground.
- Orange: The main body of the roof.
- Cyan: The massive sky background.
-
The "Danger Zones": The biggest trap here is the Cyan Sky. The tray is loaded with Cyan cups (especially under the ropes), but the sky is the background layer. If you pour Cyan too early, it will bleed into the temple structure or the sun. The other danger is the Dark Red Door. It’s a small detail in the center of the Red mass. If you miss it and fill the area with Red, you can't undo it.
-
Fill Order Prediction:
- Dark Red & Red: Build the base walls and door first.
- Yellow & Orange: Construct the roof and the ground.
- Cyan: Fill the sky last.
Tackling the Vertical Ropes in Sand Loop 362
The specific nightmare in Level 362 is the Vertical Rope System on the far left and right columns.
Look at the left side of the tray. The top Red Cup is tied to the Cyan Cup directly beneath it. This is a problem. You need that Red cup immediately to start the temple walls. However, pulling it drags the Cyan cup onto your conveyor belt.
Since your belt only has 5 Slots, that Cyan cup is essentially "dead weight." It occupies a slot but cannot be poured yet because the sky layer isn't ready. If you pull both the left and right roped pairs (Red/Cyan and Yellow/Cyan) too quickly, you will clog 40% of your belt with useless Cyan cups, causing a deadlock.
Sand Loop Level 362 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need to act surgically. Do not just spam tap the cups.
1. The Opening Salvo (Top Row Only)
Focus entirely on the Top Center cups first. Grab the loose Orange and Dark Red cups if they are accessible. Then, carefully pull the Top Left Red cup.
- Why? You need to start painting the base.
- The Cost: This pulls a Cyan cup onto your belt. Do not pour this Cyan cup. Let it ride the conveyor to the end and loop back, or hold it in a buffer slot. Focus your pours strictly on the Red and Dark Red pixels of the temple walls and door.
2. Cracking the "15" Ice Block
The top right corner has a Blue Ice Block with 15 HP. This blocks your access to the Yellow cups below it.
- You must prioritize clearing cups adjacent to this block. Use the Orange or Dark Red cups nearby.
- Every match or clear next to it chips away at the number. Until this breaks, your supply of Yellow (needed for the roof tips) is strangled.
3. Managing the Countdown Gates
You will notice two grey blocks with the number 9 (and later 4) on them. These are Countdown Gates.
- How they work: They act as blockers. Every time you successfully clear a cup from the board, the number decreases.
- Strategy: Ignore them. They are passive obstacles. As long as you are playing the top row and breaking the "15" Ice, these gates will naturally hit zero and open up the middle columns. Don't waste brainpower trying to "target" them.
4. The Deep Freeze (35, 20, 30)
Once the top layers are gone and the gates open, you face the bottom row of massive Ice Blocks (HP 35, 20, 30).
- This is the grind phase. You have plenty of Cyan cups now.
- The Pivot: By this point, the temple (Red/Dark Red) and roof (Orange/Yellow) should be mostly done. Now you want the Cyan cups.
- Unleash the Cyan cups you’ve been hoarding or avoiding. Use them to paint the sky. This rapid pouring of Cyan will help chip down the massive HP on the bottom ice blocks, revealing the final few cups needed to patch up any holes in the art.
Summary: Paint the Red/Dark Red center first. Accept the burden of holding one or two useless Cyan cups on your belt. Break the top-right Ice immediately. Save the sky for last.
