Sand Loop Level 408 is a logic-heavy puzzle that disguises itself as a simple art project. You aren't just filling colors here; you are managing a very cramped supply tray filled with traps. The image you're building is a classic flower vase sitting on a table. It features blue petals, red and orange flower centers, and a pink-and-white vase.

The background is a solid, bright yellow. While that looks easy, the yellow sand acts as a "pressure" element. Since it covers so much area, you'll be tempted to spam yellow cups. Don't do it. If you clog your conveyor belt with yellow early on, you won't have the slots available to grab the specific colors needed for the intricate flower details. This level is all about slot management and breaking the rope dependencies before the sand timer catches you off guard.

Sand Loop Level 408 Solution: The Floral Arrangement

When you look at the board in Sand Loop Level 408, the color palette is actually quite diverse. You have:

Yellow: The massive background and table surface.
Blue: The primary color for the large flower petals.
Red & Orange: Used for the small circular centers of the flowers.
Pink & White: Dedicated entirely to the vase at the bottom.
Tan/Sand: A small strip for the table edge.

The "Danger Zones" in Sand Loop Level 408 are the flower centers. These are small, tight pixels. If you have a Blue cup on the belt and you let it pour while passing over a Red center, you’ll contaminate the pixel. You have to be precise with your taps. Once the blue is in place, the Yellow background becomes much easier to fill because you have clear "walls" to aim against. If you try to do the background first, you’ll end up with a messy yellow blob and no idea where the flowers are supposed to go.

Tackling the Roped Cups in Sand Loop Level 408

The biggest obstacle in Sand Loop Level 408 is the Rope mechanic. You’ll see several pairs of cups tied together with brown twine. This isn't just cosmetic. When cups are roped, they act as a single unit or a blocker for the cups behind them.

Specifically, look at the Orange and Yellow roped pair on the left side of the tray. You need that orange for the flowers, but the yellow is sitting right on top of it or tied to its side. You have to pull the "lead" cup to free the second one. In Sand Loop Level 408, the tray is deep, and the roped cups often sit in front of the Swap Cups (the ones with the rotating arrows).

Another major headache is the Mystery (?) Cups. There are four of these greyed-out buckets with question marks. You have no idea what color is inside until they hit the conveyor belt. In a level with only 5 Slots of capacity, pulling a mystery cup is a huge risk. If you pull a White cup from a mystery slot while you’re still working on the blue flowers, that white cup is going to sit on your belt, taking up space and doing nothing for two minutes. Only pull mystery cups when you have at least three empty slots on your belt.

Sand Loop Level 408 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This level is a "dependency chain." You can't get to the colors you need for the bottom of the image until you clear the cups at the top of the tray.

Clearing the Roped Constraints

The first thing you need to do in Sand Loop Level 408 is address the top row of the tray. You have a Blue cup and a Yellow cup ready to go, but they are flanking a Swap Cup and a Mystery Cup.

Tap the Blue cup first. Get it on the belt and start filling the large petal blocks.
Next, look at the Roped Red and Yellow pair on the right. Tap the top one to break the connection. You need that red for the flower cores immediately.
Do not touch the Swap Cups yet. Their colors rotate between two options (like Red/Orange or Blue/Yellow). Wait until the sand dispenser at the top switches to the color you actually need before you pull a swap cup. If you pull a Red/Orange Swap Cup while the dispenser is blue, you are wasting a slot.

Navigating the Slot Trap

By the middle of Sand Loop Level 408, your conveyor will likely be at 3/5 or 4/5 capacity. This is the danger zone. If you hit 5/5, you cannot pull any more cups until one is emptied.

Watch the Sand Dispenser at the top. It cycles colors. If the dispenser is currently pouring Yellow, but you have three Blue cups on your belt, you are stuck. You have to wait for the cycle to return to blue.
To avoid a deadlock, always keep one slot open. If you see your capacity hit 4/5, focus entirely on emptying the cups currently on the belt.
The Pink and White cups for the vase are usually buried toward the bottom of the tray. You have to "dig" through the blue and yellow layers to get to them. This is why you must use your top-layer cups efficiently. Don't just discard them; use them to fill the background.

Filling the Flower Vase and Background

Once the flowers are roughly 70% done, it's time to handle the Vase. The vase in Sand Loop Level 408 is a mix of white and light pink.

The White cups are often hidden under the Roped Pairs. Once you’ve cleared the middle of the tray, pull the white cups.
Be careful with the Pink sand. It looks very similar to the Red sand in the tray, but on the canvas, the pink is much lighter. Check the color target at the top of the screen to make sure you’re using the right bucket.
The Yellow background is your "cleanup" phase. Use the remaining yellow cups to fill in the corners. Since the yellow areas are large, you can afford to be a bit faster with your belt movement here.
If you find yourself short on a specific color, check the Swap Cups one last time. They are your safety net. A swap cup that was yellow earlier might be blue now, providing exactly what you need to finish those last few flower pixels.
