The economy is tight. You only have 5 slots on your active belt. If you pull 5 cups that you can't use yet, or 5 cups that don't help you break a chest, you are dead. Deadlocked. Game over. You need to keep at least one slot free at all times to shuffle the deck.

Clearing the First Row of Chests

The game starts you with a Red Cup in Column 1 and another Red Cup in Column 3. You also have a Cyan Cup in Column 5. These are your keys.

Tap the Red Cup in Column 1 and Column 3 immediately.
Wait for them to reach the pour point. Watch the "4" on the chest in Column 1. It will drop to "3".
You need to cycle through your available Red Cups specifically to break that Column 1 chest. Do not get distracted by the Cyan background yet.
