Clearing the Maroon Base

The first move in Sand Loop Level 455 is always the top row. Tap those Maroon buckets immediately. They fill the very bottom of the canvas. While they are pouring, look at the second row. You’ll see Tan and Bright Red buckets starting to lose their bands.

Do not tap all the Tan buckets just because they are available. You need to create a "hole" in the tray. Focus on the two middle columns. Clearing the middle columns first is the fastest way to reach the White buckets needed for the book and the heart highlight.
