Sand Loop Level 464 Guide: The Cat in the Chimney Puzzle

Sand Loop Level 464 is a punishing logic puzzle masked as a cute picture. You are building an orange cat peeking out of a red brick chimney. White smoke billows into a split blue and cyan sky. It looks simple. It absolutely is not.

This board restricts you heavily. It is a pure logic and sequence test. Speed will get you killed here. The board gives you a suffocating 5-slot maximum capacity. If you blindly tap cups, you will gridlock before you even clear the first ice block. You have to play the supply tray like a chess match, thinking three matches ahead to avoid clogging your active slots.

The color palette is specific and segmented. You need Orange, Dark Red, White, Dark Blue, and Cyan. The tricky part is the order of operations. You cannot dump background colors while the foreground is empty.

Sand Loop Level 464 Solution: Painting the Chimney Cat

Look at the top canvas. This pixel art has distinct layers that dictate your entire strategy.

Color Palette Deep Dive: Sand Loop Level 464 relies on large blocks of Orange for the cat’s body and thick chunks of Dark Red for the chimney bricks. The background is split diagonally. Dark Blue dominates the upper left. Cyan handles the right side. White is reserved for the thin mortar lines between the bricks and the thick smoke trail.

The "Danger Zones": The mortar lines and the cat's tiny red eyes are your failure points. Sand physics in this game are unforgiving. If you pour the Dark Blue sky before the Orange cat is fully formed, the blue sand will spill over the designated pixel boundaries and contaminate the cat's face. The thin White lines between the red bricks are equally frustrating. You must establish the heavy red bricks first.

Fill Order Prediction: Build from the bottom up. Start with the Dark Red chimney bricks and the Orange cat. Get those massive blocks of color out of the way. Then, move to the White smoke and mortar. Save the Dark Blue and Cyan cups for the absolute end. Filling the sky last ensures the sand naturally flows around the solid structures you already built.

Tackling the Golden Key Blockade in Sand Loop Level 464

The supply tray in Sand Loop 464 is a masterclass in frustration. A massive Golden Key cuts horizontally right across the lower middle of the board.

This specific key blocks an entire reserve of Dark Blue, Cyan, and White cups. You cannot touch the bottom half of the board until this key is cleared. Worse, the key is guarded by a massive layer of junk. Directly above the right side of the key sits a "20" Ice Block. To its left, a mess of Roped Cups.

You do not have access to the colors you need for the background. The game forces you to play the foreground colors (Orange and Dark Red) simply because they are the only cups free at the top of the tray. The Roped Cups tying Red and Orange together act as a secondary wall. You have to match those specific roped pairs to drop the ice block’s counter. Every cup you send to the conveyor must serve the dual purpose of painting the cat and chipping away at that 20-count wall.

Sand Loop Level 464 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have 5 slots. The conveyor belt delay means cups take precious seconds to empty under the sand dispensers and free up a slot. Spamming taps leads to an instant game over.

Clearing the 20 Ice Block

Your very first taps dictate the rest of the round. Look at the top rows. You have loose Orange and Dark Red cups.

You must ignore the blue cups entirely. Do not touch them. Focus entirely on the red and orange cups to chip down the "20" Ice Block. Tap the loose Dark Red cups on the far left and right edges to open up the columns. Then, immediately target the Roped Cups in the upper middle. Matching these roped Orange and Red cups is mandatory. Sending them down the conveyor chips the ice block down rapidly.

Watch your slots. Send three cups. Wait. Let the sand pour into the chimney and the cat. Let the cups vanish. Only then should you queue up the next batch of Orange and Red. If you fill your 5 slots while waiting for the ice block to break, you trap yourself.

Navigating the Golden Key Trap

Once you chip the 20 ice block down to zero, the path to the Golden Key opens. Match a cup adjacent to the key to turn it.

The moment the key turns, the board shifts entirely. The bottom half of the tray becomes active. This is a massive trap. The game suddenly presents you with a flood of Dark Blue, Cyan, and a nasty "23" Ice Block tucked in the bottom left corner.

You need to keep 2 slots open here. If you are sitting at 4/5 capacity when the key triggers, the new available cups will bait you into making a wrong move. Hold your taps. Clear out any remaining Orange cups to finish the cat's body.

Now, you have to deal with the lower ice blocks. There is a "2" Ice Block right in the bottom middle under another set of roped Cyan and Blue cups. Break that quickly to free up the final White cups hidden at the bottom.

Filling the Two-Toned Sky Background

Now the chimney is built and the cat is sitting in it. The White smoke is mostly done. You are left staring at a tray full of Dark Blue and Cyan.

The Cyan background is the easy part. The right side of the sky fills up extremely fast. However, ensure you do not use up your Dark Blue cups too rapidly. The bottom left corner hides that "23" Ice Block. You must systematically match the Dark Blue and Cyan cups adjacent to that block to shatter it.

Send your Cyan cups to the conveyor to max out the 99% Cyan progress bar. Then, focus entirely on the left side of the tray. Strip away the remaining Dark Blue cups, breaking the 23 block in the process. Keep your rhythm steady. Send two blues, wait for the pour, send two more. Let the dark blue sand fill the upper left sky, capping off the puzzle.
