Sand Loop Level 267 Guide: The Moonlit Sky Puzzle

This is the "Starry Night" level. You are painting a dark blue night sky featuring a large yellow crescent moon, pixelated white and cyan clouds, and a few scattered orange stars.

This isn't a speed level where you're racing against ice blocks. This is a digging level. The challenge here is the vertical stack layout. The colors you need for the "highlight" features (the Yellow Moon and Orange Stars) are buried at the very bottom of the tray. You have to surgically remove the "Sky" and "Cloud" cups to reach them without clogging your limited 5-slot conveyor belt.

Sand Loop Level 267 Solution: The Cloud Cover

The pixel art here is deceptive. The vast majority of the canvas is Dark Blue (the sky), but the tray setup makes the White and Cyan cups feel like obstacles.

  • Color Palette: Dark Blue (Background), White & Cyan (Clouds), Yellow (Crescent Moon), Orange (Stars).
  • The "Danger Zones": The Orange Stars are the trickiest part. They are small, detailed crosses scattered across the sky. Because they require so little sand, it’s easy to waste an entire Orange cup if you mistime the pour, and Orange cups are scarce.
  • Fill Order Prediction: The game will naturally want to fill the massive Dark Blue background first because those cups are most accessible. Do not fight this. Let the background fill to clear board space.

Tackling the [Buried Core] in Sand Loop Level 267

The specific obstacle in Level 267 is the Center Column Dependency.

Look at the middle of your tray. There is a stack directly in the center topped with a White cup. Directly underneath it is an Orange cup. You absolutely need that Orange cup to paint the stars, but it is physically blocked.

Worse, the Yellow cups needed for the moon are buried at the bottom of the inner-left and inner-right columns (underneath layers of Cyan and White). If you focus too much on clearing just one color, you will run out of conveyor slots. You have to strip the layers horizontally, removing the top cups of all columns evenly to access the warm colors at the bottom.

Sand Loop Level 267 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Clearing the "Sky" Wings

Your tray has two columns on the far left and far right that are almost entirely Dark Blue.

  • Start by tapping the top Dark Blue cups on the extreme edges.
  • This is safe because the sky takes up 50% of the canvas. You can't really "waste" blue sand this early.
  • This clears up physical space in the tray, allowing the inner columns to slide around if physics dictates, but mostly it just gets the easy work out of the way.

2. Peeling the Cloud Layer (White & Cyan)

Once the initial blues are processing, start tapping the Cyan and White cups sitting on top of the inner columns.

  • Capacity Warning: You have a 5-slot limit. Do not tap 5 cups instantly. Tap 3, wait for them to reach the dispenser, then tap 2 more.
  • You need to get rid of these top-layer cloud colors to expose the Yellow cups hiding underneath.
  • Alternate between Cyan and White. If you only clear Cyan, you might finish the "Cyan part" of the clouds and be left with useless Cyan cups clogging your tray. Keep the colors balanced.

3. The Orange Extraction

Keep an eye on that absolute center column.

  • As soon as you clear the top White cup in the middle, the Orange cup is exposed.
  • Tap it immediately. The stars are scattered, and it takes time for the nozzle to travel between them. Getting this cup onto the belt early ensures the stars are painted while you are busy digging for Yellow.

4. The Yellow Moon Finale

By now, you should have cleared the upper layers of the inner columns. You will see Yellow cups sitting at the bottom of the stacks (roughly in the 2nd and 6th column positions).

  • These are for the Crescent Moon.
  • Since the moon is a single, large contiguous block, it fills quickly.
  • Once you tap the Yellows, you can use any remaining Dark Blue cups to finish off the corners of the night sky if the level hasn't ended yet.
