Sand Loop Level 354 Guide: The Cat Totem Puzzle

This level features a "Cat Totem" or "Kitty Pyramid"—a stack of three pixelated cats sitting on top of each other. It’s a classic logic level, not a speed run. The challenge here isn't breaking ice quickly; it's managing a very dense, specific color order against the laws of physics.

The Palette:

  • Maroon (Dark Red): The top cat.
  • Orange (Tan): The middle cat.
  • White (Cream): The bottom cat.
  • Cyan (Blue): The sky background.
  • Pink: The hearts floating at the top and the tiny noses on the cats.

Sand Loop Level 354 Solution: The Vertical Stack

The artwork dictates your strategy. Since sand falls downward, you cannot paint the Maroon cat (top) until the Orange cat (middle) is solid. You cannot paint the Orange cat until the White cat (bottom) provides a floor.

The Fill Order Prediction:

  1. White (Bottom): Priority #1. If you pour orange or maroon before the white base is done, the darker sands will slide into the white area, ruining your percentage.
  2. Orange (Middle): Once the white cat's ears are formed, they act as a cup for the orange sand.
  3. Maroon (Top): The final layer of the structure.
  4. Cyan (Sides): These can be filled continuously as you build up, but usually, they fill naturally with the side cups.
  5. Pink (Details): The danger color. You need tiny bursts for noses and big bursts for the top hearts.

The Danger Zone: The Pink Hearts at the top are the biggest bait. You will have access to Pink cups early, but if you send them out before the Maroon cat is built, that pink sand will fall straight to the bottom of the canvas, potentially contaminating the white cat's face.

Tackling the "Pink Spine" in Sand Loop Level 354

Look at your tray in the first screenshot. There is a vertical column of cups right in the center: White -> Pink -> Pink -> Blue -> Maroon.

This "Spine" is the specific obstacle for Level 354. That top White cup is essential to start the level. However, clearing it immediately exposes two Pink cups. You do not need that much pink yet. The bottom cat only has a tiny pink nose. If you uncork those pink cups too fast, they clog your 0/5 slot capacity, forcing you to play them at the wrong time just to clear space.

You must treat that central column with extreme caution. Only tap the Pinks when the "Nose" pixel is ready to accept them.

Sand Loop Level 354 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This level requires patience. Do not spam taps. You have 5 slots, which feels generous, but the tray is packed with wrong-colored cups that block the right ones.

1. Establish the White Base

Ignore the side colors for a second. Your very first move must be the Top Center White Cup. This cup contains the sand for the bottom cat's forehead and ears.

  • Once that white cup is on the belt, the two Orange Cups flanking it become available. You can send one of these to start the middle layer, but don't overcommit to orange yet.
  • Your goal is to dig for more White Cups. Look at the third row down (the wider row). There are White cups sitting on the left and right sides (blocked by Maroons). You need to clear the blockers to get to this white sand to finish the bottom cat.

2. The Nose Timing

After the first White cup pours, the bottom cat will have a small gap for its nose.

  • Now you can tap one of the exposed Pink Cups from the center spine.
  • Timing Tip: Ensure the white sand has settled before the pink arrives. If the pink arrives while the white is still pouring, they might mix messily.
  • Do not tap the second pink cup yet. Leave it blocking the center until you are approaching the middle cat's face.

3. Clearing the Side Blockers (Maroon)

To get the rest of the white sand (needed for the bottom cat's cheeks/body), you have to move the Maroon Cups on the far left and right edges of the stack.

  • This is risky because Maroon belongs at the very top.
  • The Trick: Send the Maroon cups when the nozzle is over the far edges of the canvas (the blue background area). Since the background isn't filled yet, the Maroon sand might pile up harmlessly on the sides or start filling the top corners. Just don't let it fall into the center.
  • Once those Maroons are gone, tap the White Cups underneath them immediately to finish the bottom cat.

4. The Orange and Cyan Phase

With the bottom cat done, the level becomes easier.

  • Unload the Orange Cups to build the middle cat.
  • Mix in Cyan (Blue) cups whenever you have a free slot. The background is large and forgiving; it can take sand anytime as long as it doesn't block the main figures.
  • Use the second Pink Cup for the middle cat's nose.

5. The Top Tier (Maroon & Hearts)

You are now left with mostly Maroon, Blue, and the bottom-most Pink cups.

  • The Maroon cups will form the top cat effortlessly now that the orange platform is built.
  • Save the final Pink Cups for the very end. The floating hearts are at the highest point of the canvas. If you pour them last, they will sit perfectly on top of the Maroon sand without sliding down.
