Sand Loop Level 248 Guide: The Carrot House Puzzle

This level features a charming piece of pixel art: a house shaped like a giant orange carrot, complete with a red door, a picket fence, and a green leafy roof. It looks cozy, but the mechanics are anything but comfortable. This is primarily a Logic Level. You aren't racing a timer; you are fighting a supply jam.

The hook here is the Blue Gate (4) located at the bottom of the board. It blocks your central supply flow, and the keys to open it—four Cyan cups—are buried deep under other colors. If you play too passively, you will run out of tray slots before you can even start painting the main house.

Sand Loop Level 248 Solution: The Carrot & The Fence

Before you start tapping, analyze the layers of the image. The game fills from the bottom up, which dictates your priority list.

  • Color Palette Deep Dive:
    • Green: The grass at the absolute bottom and the leaves at the very top.
    • Red/Maroon: The picket fence and the door.
    • Orange: The massive middle section (the carrot body).
    • Cyan (Blue): The windows, clouds, and most importantly, the key to the gate.
    • Beige/White: The background sky.
  • The "Danger Zones": The biggest trap is the Orange cups. The carrot is the biggest part of the image, so your brain wants to collect Orange immediately. Do not do this. The Orange section is in the middle of the canvas. If you fill your slots with Orange cups while the painting is still on the Green/Red grass layer, you will deadlock your game.
  • Fill Order Prediction: You must clear the Green grass and Red fence first. Only after those are done should you worry about the Orange body.

Tackling the Blue Gate (4) in Sand Loop Level 248

The specific obstacle in Level 248 is the Blue Gate with the number "4".

This gate sits at the bottom center of the supply structure. It prevents the central column of cups from flowing freely. To destroy this gate, you must consume 4 Cyan (Blue) cups.

Here is the problem: Look at your supply piles. The Cyan cups are not on top. They are buried behind White, Red, and Green cups. This creates a dependency chain. You cannot open the gate until you dig out the Cyan cups, but you cannot dig out the Cyan cups without painting the bottom of the picture first. You have to play the "digging game" perfectly to access the Blue cups exactly when you need them.

Sand Loop Level 248 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This level punishes hoarding. You have 5 slots. Keep them rotating.

1. Clearing the Grass and Fence (The Dig Phase)

Your first few moves are scripted by the pile layout. You need to clear the cups covering the Cyans.

  • Ignore the Orange cups on the left and right edges for now. They are dead weight.
  • Focus heavily on Green and Red. The bottom of the canvas is a mix of grass and fence posts.
  • Tap the Green and Red cups that are directly blocking Cyan cups. As soon as a Cyan cup is exposed, it becomes your high-value target.

2. The Cyan Tax

Once you expose a Cyan cup, grab it immediately.

  • Even if the current "paint line" on the canvas isn't perfectly ready for blue windows or clouds, you usually have some leeway to pour into the background or window spots.
  • The goal is to feed 4 Cyan cups into the mix as fast as possible.
  • Watch the counter on the blue gate tick down: 4... 3... 2...
  • Critical Tip: Do not let Cyan cups sit in your tray of 5 slots. Get them on the belt. The gate won't open if the cups are just sitting in your inventory; they must be poured.

3. The Orange Flood

Once the 4th Blue cup is used, the gate smashes open. This releases the central column of the supply.

  • Now the painting shifts to the main body of the house. You will need a massive amount of Orange.
  • This is the easy part. The supply is now unblocked, and you can freely alternate between Orange for the house and Beige/White for the background sky.
  • Just be careful near the top: the carrot has Green leaves. Don't use up all your Green cups on the grass at the start if you can avoid it, though usually, the game provides enough refill. Just keep an eye on the top of the supply stack for those final Green cups.
