Sand Loop Level 315 Guide: The Walking Calico Cat Puzzle

This level features a charming, strutting Calico Cat (or Lucky Cat) set against a vibrant outdoor backdrop. It’s not a speed level, but it is a "digging" level. The puzzle logic here is strictly vertical: the colors you need for the main subject (the cat) are buried at the very bottom of the supply tray, underneath a mountain of background colors.

Color Palette:

  • Background: Deep Sky Blue (dominant), Grass Green.
  • Subject: White (main coat), Yellow/Gold (patches/ears), Red (bow/mouth), Orange (subtle shading).

Sand Loop Level 315 Solution: The "Buried Subject"

Look at the top screen of the screenshot versus your tray. The art shows a massive block of Blue sky and a solid strip of Green grass. Now look at your supply tray. The top three rows are almost exclusively Blue and Green.

This is a Dependency Chain puzzle. You cannot paint the cat until you paint the world it lives in.

  • The Danger Zone: The specific trap here is the Green cups. While the Blue sky takes up about 60% of the canvas, the Green grass is only a thin strip at the bottom. You have a lot of Green cups in the top corners (Row 1) and the middle cluster (Row 3). If you spam them onto the conveyor too fast, they will fill the grass strip and then have nowhere to go, clogging your 5 conveyor slots while you desperately wait for the nozzle to pass over the bottom of the canvas again.
  • Fill Order Prediction: The game forces you to paint Background First. Usually, you want to paint the subject first to avoid over-painting, but here the tray layout physically prevents you from accessing the White and Red cups until the Blue/Green layer is gone.

Tackling the "7" Ice Blocks in Sand Loop Level 315

At the bottom left and right corners of the tray, you will see two frozen blocks marked with the number 7.

These are Counter Locks. They don't require a key or a specific color match. They simply require you to successfully pour 7 cups of any color. Once you have processed 7 cups through the nozzle, these blocks shatter.

Why they matter: They are blocking the bottom-most corner slots. While they are frozen, the cups in the rows above them (the Yellow and White cups in Row 4) cannot fall straight down or slide into those corners. This restricts your board space. You don't need to "target" them; just play the level naturally, and they will break before you even reach the bottom row. Ignore them; they are a distraction.

Sand Loop Level 315 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. The Sky Blue "Strip Mine"

Your first moves are dictated by the top row: Green, Blue, Blue, Green.

  • Ignore the Greens for a second. Tap the Blue cups in the top row and the second row immediately.
  • The sky area is huge. You can safely load 3-4 Blue cups onto the belt at once without fear of overflow.
  • Goal: Clear the center columns to expose the Green cups in Row 3.

2. The Grass Green Throttle

Once the top Blues are gone, you are left with a cluster of Green cups (top corners and middle of Row 3).

  • Pause here. Do not spam tap. The grass strip is at the very bottom of the image. The nozzle only spends a fraction of its loop time over that green area.
  • Feed the Green cups one by one. Wait for the first cup to pour before sending the second. If you put 3 Green cups on the belt, they will loop around endlessly, occupying 3 of your 5 slots, preventing you from pulling the Blues needed to finish the sky.

3. Accessing the Cat (Rows 4 & 5)

By the time the Green/Blue upper crust is cleared, the "7" Ice Blocks will have shattered. Now you have access to the bottom rows: Yellow, Red, White, and Orange.

  • The canvas fills from the bottom up mostly, so prioritize the White cups (legs/body) and Red (bow tie).
  • Be careful with the Red cup. There is only one visible in the center of Row 4 initially. This corresponds to the bow tie/mouth. If you miss the timing on this pour, you have to wait for a full loop.
  • Save the Yellow cups (ears/tail tip) for last. They are at the highest points of the cat sprite and usually sit on the outer edges of the tray.

4. Final Cleanup

You might end up with a stray Blue cup hidden in the bottom corners (sometimes they hide behind the Ice Blocks). Ensure the sky is 100% finished before you commit your slots to the final White/Yellow details. A stray Blue cup looping around while you try to finish the cat's face is a recipe for a deadlock.
