Sand Loop Level 316 Guide: The Brick Fireplace Puzzle

Level 316 gives us a cozy piece of pixel art: a classic brick fireplace with a roaring fire inside. While it looks warm and inviting, the tray layout is cold and rigid. This is a Logic Level, not a speed test. The challenge isn't moving fast; it's digging through a dense, multi-layered stack of cups without clogging your limited 5-slot conveyor belt.

Sand Loop Level 316 Solution: The Fireplace Palette

Before tapping anything, look at the canvas. The color distribution dictates your sorting order.

Brick Red: The dominant color. These cups make up the bulk of the structure.
Mortar White: Used for the thin lines between bricks. These are critical "spacer" pixels.
Mantle Maroon (Dark Red): The heavy shelf at the top and the hearth base at the bottom.
Fire Orange: Concentrated in the dead center.
Bush Green: Two patches on the far left and right edges.

The Danger Zones: The brick pattern is the killer here. It's a checkerboard of Red and White. If you load your belt with only Red cups, you might overfill or block the nozzle from reaching the White mortar lines that need to be painted in between. You need an alternating rhythm, not a mono-color flood. Also, watch out for the Fire Core. The orange pixels are buried inside the structure, meaning you need to access those middle-row Orange cups while the nozzle is passing the center.

Tackling the U-Shaped Tray in Sand Loop 316

The specific obstacle in Sand Loop 316 is the U-Shaped Cup Stack.

Look at your supply tray. It’s thick on the left and right sides (5 rows deep) but hollowed out at the bottom center. The center column is the most dangerous part of this board.

The Dark Red cup at the top center blocks access to the White and Orange cups below it.
Because the sides are so tall, you might be tempted to just clear the corners. Don't. If you ignore the center column, you won't get the Orange sand needed for the fire until it's too late.

You have a 5-slot capacity. This is generous, but it's a trap. If you fill all 5 slots with the wrong colors (like the top row Greens and Reds) just to "clear space," you will deadlock yourself when the printer screams for Orange.

Sand Loop Level 316 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This level requires surgical removal of the top layer to access the fire colors in the middle.

1. Clearing the Green "Ears"

Start with the two Green cups on the far top-left and top-right. The fireplace art has green bushes on the extreme edges. By tapping these first, you do two things:

You satisfy the edge painting requirements immediately.
You expose the Dark Red and Orange cups sitting in the second row on the sides. Do not tap the top-center Dark Red yet. Let the Greens process.

2. The Mantle and Hearth (Dark Red Phase)

Once the Green is out, you have three Dark Red cups visible (one top center, two on the second row sides). The artwork has a heavy Dark Red base (hearth) and top (mantle). Load these Dark Red cups now. This is the pivotal move. Clearing the top-center Dark Red cup finally unlocks the central column, giving you access to the White cup sitting right in the middle of the tray.

3. Digging for Fire (Orange Access)

With the top layers peeled back, you should see Orange cups exposed in the second and third rows. The printer will likely be working on the inner fireplace now. Prioritize the Orange cups. You need to get the fire painted before you finish the brickwork. If you leave the Orange cups for last, you'll be stuck waiting for the nozzle to pass over the small center hole repeatedly. Get them in the queue while the middle section is active.

4. The Brickwork Weave (Red & White)

Now you are left with the messy bottom half of the tray: a mix of Red and White. Do not spam tap. Look at the canvas. The bricks are red, the lines are white. Try to load them in pairs if possible (Red, White, Red, White). If you dump five Red cups into the slots, the machine has to paint a massive amount of red before it can switch to the white mortar lines. Keeping a mix in the slots allows the printer to handle the detailed checkerboard pattern much faster.

Finish off by clearing the remaining bottom-row White/Red cups to complete the chimney stack.
