Sand Loop Level 317 Guide: The Rocket Ship Puzzle

This level features a vibrant pixel art Rocket Ship blasting off. While the art looks cool, the board layout is a nasty endurance test. This is not a speed level; it is a "chipping" level. You are up against massive Ice Blocks with high hit points (34 and 25) that dominate the center and left lanes.

Color Palette:

  • Cyan: The dominant background (Sky).
  • Red: The rocket wings.
  • White: The rocket body and the smoke clouds at the bottom.
  • Blue: The nose cone and fins.
  • Orange/Yellow: The ground and the porthole window.

Sand Loop Level 317 Solution: The Rocket Blueprint

You need to be careful with your paint distribution here. The rocket itself is a mix of Red, White, and Blue, but the background is a massive wash of Cyan.

The Danger Zones:

  • The Ground Layer: The bottom of the canvas has a strip of Orange/Yellow sand representing the ground. Do not ignore the Orange cups early on. If you discard them or use them incorrectly, you'll be stuck waiting for a respawn while the Ice Blocks block your progress.
  • The Porthole: There is a tiny dot of yellow/orange in the middle of the red/white rocket. It’s easy to miss. Keep an eye on your progress bar for the orange color.
  • Fill Order: Prioritize the White smoke and body first. This naturally helps you clear the center of the board, which is where the hardest obstacles live.

Tackling the "34" Ice Block in Sand Loop 317

The single biggest threat in Sand Loop Level 317 is the Center Ice Block marked with the number 34.

This block sits dead center in the second row, effectively cutting the board in half. Until this block breaks, you cannot easily access the cups in the bottom center rows. Because it requires 34 adjacent matches/clears to destroy, it will be on the board for 80% of the game.

The Strategy: You cannot focus solely on breaking it. You have to play around it. Treat the left and right columns as your primary "working lanes" while taking every incidental match in the center to chip that number down. Do not get tunnel vision trying to force matches next to the 34; just keep the conveyor belt moving.

Sand Loop Level 317 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Clear the Top "Sky" Layer

Your starting top row is Cyan - Orange - White - Orange - Cyan.

  • Send the Cyan cups to the background immediately. This clears the corners.
  • Send the Orange cups to the bottom "ground" layer of the canvas.
  • Crucial Move: The White cup in the top center sits directly on top of the '34' Ice Block. Clear it into the rocket body/smoke immediately. This counts as your first "hit" on the Ice Block.

2. Managing the Vertical Rope Pairs

Once the top row is gone, you expose the Rope obstacles.

  • On the left and right flanks, you have Blue cups tied to White cups.
  • The Trap: Because they are tied vertically, pulling the top Blue cup drags the White cup up. If your conveyor belt (Slot Capacity 5) is full, you cannot pull the Blue cup.
  • The Fix: Always keep 2 slots open on your conveyor belt when dealing with these ropes. Pull the pair, then immediately send the Blue to the nose/fins and the White to the smoke. This clears the lane for the cups below.

3. Grinding Down the '25' and '34' Ice

The bottom-left corner has another massive Ice Block (25). This blocks the Red cups you desperately need for the wings.

  • You must prioritize clearing the Blue/White rope pairs above this block.
  • Once the ropes are gone, cups will fall into those slots, allowing you to make matches adjacent to the '25' block.
  • It feels slow. That's normal. Just keep cycling the Cyan cups from the generators into the sky to keep the board refreshing.

4. Unlocking the '6' Gates

At the bottom, you see two arches marked with 6. These are Countdown Gates. They require 6 nearby matches or clears to open up the bottom flow completely.

  • Luckily, as you fight the '34' Ice Block in the center, you will naturally be making matches near these gates.
  • Don't stress about them specifically. Focus on the Ice. The gates will open as a byproduct of your war against the ice blocks.

5. The Final Red/Cyan Push

Once the heavy Ice Blocks finally shatter, the bottom row—containing Red and Cyan ropes—will become accessible.

  • By this point, your rocket should be mostly white and blue.
  • Use the freed Red cups to finish the massive wings.
  • Use the remaining Cyan cups to patch up any holes in the sky background.
