This is a classic "scenic route" level featuring a pixel art Sailboat drifting past a sandy beach. While it looks peaceful, the mechanics are anything but. Sand Loop 381 is a logic-heavy gridlock puzzle, not a speed run. You are boxed in by two massive Ice Blocks holding Gold Keys hostage. If you don't drill through the center correctly, you’ll run out of moves with half the board still frozen.

The palette here is deceptively complex:

  • Dark Red: The boat’s hull and the framing mast on the left.
  • Cyan: The water and details on the sail.
  • White: The main body of the sail.
  • Beige/Orange: The sandy beach background (uses the Yellow/Orange cups).

Sand Loop Level 381 Solution: The "Inside-Out" Strategy

Look at the tray setup. It’s a fortress. You have a central stack of available cups, flanked by locked reserves on the left and blocked columns at the bottom.

The Danger Zones: The biggest trap in Sand Loop 381 is the Dependency Chain.

  1. You cannot access the Left Reserve (Red/Green/Cyan cups) until the Horizontal Gold Key turns.
  2. That key won't turn until you destroy the "18" Ice Block.
  3. You cannot access the bottom-center Orange Reserve until the "25" Ice Block breaks.

Fill Order Prediction: Because the reserves are locked, you are forced to paint the picture in a weird order. You’ll likely finish the Cyan water and Red hull early because those cups are available at the top. The Beige sand and Green trees will lag behind because their cup supplies are trapped deep in the stack or behind locks.

The specific obstacle here is the Proximity Ice.

The Ice Block (18) and Ice Block (25) are not broken by using specific colors. They are broken by clearing cups adjacent to them. Every time you clear a cup that is physically touching the Ice Block, the number ticks down.

This creates a "drill" mechanic. You must aggressively clear the Main Central Stack (the White, Yellow, and Green cups currently free) to chip away at the ice. If you waste time trying to "save" cups for the perfect spot, you won't generate enough friction to break the locks. You need to keep the conveyor moving to smash that ice.

This level requires you to play from the top down, literally drilling a hole in the center to unlock the sides.

1. The Alternating Start

Your first moves are scripted. The top row is a strict pattern: Red, Cyan, Red, Cyan, Red, Cyan.

  • Don't overthink this. Tap them in pairs if possible to keep the belt efficient.
  • These will start filling the boat’s hull (Red) and the water line (Cyan).
  • Warning: Do not let your tray hit 5/5 capacity here. Keep a rhythm. Tap, wait for the pour, tap again.

2. Managing the Roped Yellows

Once the top row is gone, you expose the second layer. Here you see two Yellow/Orange cups connected by a Rope.

  • Roped cups must move together. You cannot pull one if the other is blocked by a cup below it.
  • In this layout, the cups directly below them (in the 3rd row) are usually free.
  • Clear the White cups on the far left and right of this row first. This isolates the Roped pair, making them easier to drop onto the belt without jamming the sides. These Yellows will start filling the sandy beach.

  • Once it hits zero, the block shatters, the Horizontal Key spins, and the entire left column of Red and Green cups will fall into play. You need these immediately for the trees and the mast.

4. The Final "25" Descent

The "25" Ice Block at the bottom is the final boss. It holds the Vertical Key which blocks a crucial column of Orange cups.

  • You won't break this until late in the level.
  • Use the newly unlocked cups from the left side to continue painting the trees (Green) and mast (Red).
  • As you clear the bottom rows of the main stack, the "25" will rapidly tick down.
  • Pro Tip: If you see the "25" block turn into a low number (like the "4" in the progress screenshot), prioritize clearing any cup touching it immediately. Breaking this lock releases the last wave of Orange cups needed to finish the beach background.
