Sand Loop Level 62 Guide: The Synthwave Moon Puzzle

The Art: This level features a "Synthwave Moon." It’s a pixel art piece showing a large yellow crescent moon and three small stars against a horizontally striped background of Cyan, Dark Blue, and Purple. The Level Type: This is a Mystery Logic level. The challenge isn't speed; it's managing the massive amount of hidden information in the tray. The Hook: The color palette is strictly layered. You have horizontal bands of background color that must be laid down in order, but the cups you need are hidden behind gray "Mystery Cups" (?) and Ice Blocks.

Sand Loop Level 62 Solution: The Synthwave Moon

To beat this, look at the target image in the monitor. It’s not just a random mix; it's a layer cake.

  • Color Palette:
    • Cyan: Fills the bottom-most band and some upper details.
    • Dark Blue: Forms the thin horizontal stripes.
    • Purple/Magenta: Fills the top sky background.
    • Yellow: Exclusively for the Moon and Stars.
  • The "Danger Zones": The horizontal stripes are the killer here. If you pour Purple while the conveyor is over the bottom (Cyan) section, you ruin the clean lines. You need to watch the pour nozzle's position relative to the canvas height.
  • Fill Order Prediction: The tray setup actually helps you here. The Yellow cups (Moon) are buried at the very bottom of the tray. This forces you to paint the background (Blue/Cyan/Purple) first. Do not fight this. Leave the Yellows for last.

Tackling the Mystery Grid in Sand Loop Level 62

The specific obstacle in Level 62 is the high density of Mystery Cups (?). In the screenshot, you can see that nearly half the slots are gray cups with question marks. This creates a "Blind Draw" problem.

  • How it works: You don't know what color a cup is until you unblock it.
  • The Risk: You have 5 slots in your conveyor (Current/Total capacity). If you pull three Mystery Cups and they all turn out to be Yellow (which you can't use yet), you will clog your conveyor.
  • The Fix: Only pull Mystery Cups when you have at least 2 open slots on your belt. Never fill your belt to 5/5 with unknown items. You need wiggle room to discard or hold a cup if it’s the wrong color.

Sand Loop Level 62 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Establish the Cyan Base

Look at the top row of your supply tray. You have Blue and Cyan immediately available. This is perfect.

  • The bottom of the canvas is Cyan with a Blue stripe.
  • Load the Cyan and Blue cups first.
  • Let them pour to establish the bottom foundation of the art. Do not worry about the moon shape yet; the yellow sand will overlay this later.

2. Cracking the "Ice 5" Blocks

You will notice two blocks with the number 5 sitting in the middle-left and middle-right columns. These act as bottlenecks.

  • These blocks prevent you from accessing the lower reserves of Purple and Yellow sand.
  • You cannot interact with them directly. You must clear the cups above and around them.
  • Focus your taps on the columns directly above these Ice Blocks. Clearing the Mystery Cups in these vertical lines is your priority to unlock the rest of the board.

3. The Purple Transition

Once you chew through the top layer of Mystery Cups, you will start seeing Purple cups.

  • Check the canvas. The Purple band is at the top of the image.
  • Timing is key: Do not release Purple sand immediately after a Blue pour if the nozzle is still low. Wait for the nozzle to travel upward to the "sky" section of the canvas.
  • If you pour Purple too low, it will muddy the Dark Blue stripes. Keep the layers distinct.

4. The Yellow Moon Finale

By the time you reach the bottom of the tray, you should have cleared most of the background colors. Now, the Yellow cups hidden at the bottom (Row 5 and 6) become available.

  • The canvas background should be mostly done.
  • Now you can "spam" the Yellow cups. Since the Moon and Stars sit on top of the background layers, you don't need to be as careful with height. Just get the yellow sand onto the canvas to fill the remaining empty pixels in the center.
